MLK Day is tomorrow ...

Martin Luther King day is tomorrow! We will remember the ones that lost their lives fighting for equality.

My daughter Lucy came home from school last week and told me that they learned about Martin Luther King. She also mentioned that it is not important "what color" our friends are, but that they are "nice to us and we get along". Well done Lucy.

The images below are from the "Black Lives Matter" project from August 2016. In conjunction with my friend Sarah Hosseini we created a piece about the importance of equality among different races, and a mother's struggle to raise her African American children in America 2016.
